This 1983, signed original Floating Wizard print by Science Fiction and Fantasy illustrator P.D. Breeding has always occupied a position of importance in my home. I met her through mutual Rennie  Renaissance Faire folk) friends in San Antonio, and her sister stayed in my guestroom during a long, hot run of Scarborugh Faire near Waxahachie, Texas.

Of course, I love the dragon, and the fact the wizzard is floating in air, but I like the composition and colors and form, too. The fact that it feels — and is — of magic doesn't hurt anything, either.
