My friend, sculptor TJ Mabrey is one of those people who are always asking leading questions about art. These three symbols hanging on the wood wall in my office don't have official names or meanings. That's what TJ wanted to know. What do they mean to you? I was much more interested in them as found pieces of art, all mysterious and elemental, than any meaniings that might be associated. Each one is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inches.

TJ adds:

Those are the directions we're headed in, of course!
They indicate directions to the mystery.

I have a small stone sculpture by TJ somewhere in this house. I haven't found it yet, but I will.
