I bought this 15-inch diameter globe at a garage sale at friends Bob and Robin Milsom's house in Oak Cliff, when they were moving out of Dallas to Washington D.C. It was done as a college project by their daughter, and former Dallas Arts Revue writer, Amanda Milsom.

Amanda didn't think much of it, and only asked $5 for it. But I love it, because once again, art tells the truth, where science fails. In most ways, this is as true and accurate map of the world as I've ever seen or touched. And yes, it spins.
