According to the invitation, “[We were] invited to a Spring Garden Concert. Come enjoy the East Dallas habitat with Mr. Habitat himself, Bill Oliver, Saturday, April 9th, 2005 ... Eat, drink, chat, and enjoy the garden, beginning at 6:30 PM.
Music beginning at 7:30. Bring musical instruments for audience participation and performance (also bring camp chairs and mosquito repellant) Bill’s music is suitable for all ages, so bring the kids and teenagers, but please no dogs. Since we need to support our artistic friends we are asking for a $10 donation from the employed and independently wealthy, $5 from the un(der)employed or poverty stricken.”
It were grand fun with grass dancing, sychronized rowing, sing-along-ing and talking with new and old friends.
