Surls Flower Planted

On a cold, rainy overcast afternoon in early spring, this 9' tall, 30' long, 4.5-ton "flower" was lowered among the oak trees at Bryan and Harwood downtown. It is Dallas' first major piece by the internationally-known Texan sculptor, James Surls.
