Community = Friends & Friends of Friends Which is how I came to attend Tony Bones' opening in Oak Cliff Friday August 6. Tony is Carol's son's best friend. Carol's a good friend of Cindy and Sharron, whose son Christian is Tony's hero. We all attended his opening and were so struck by his work, we each took some home. Mine in my camera.
Of course, we'd seen his work before. Tony's a tagger, and public spaces around the city have exhibited his work when the local constabulary didn't stop him. The image above is one of his signature figures. The only titles Tony's works have are the words written on them.
